Since 1996, Sebastian Szary and Gernot Bronsert from the glitch-techno duo Modeselektor, have proved that their dynamic approach to producing music is what set's them apart from the overly saturated world of electro. Fans and collaborators include Thom Yorke, Bjork, TTC and Paul St. Hilaire, as well as Apparat, with whom the duo also record as Moderat. They are also featured in a new documentary, Speaking in Code, which examines the worldwide passion for techno music. Definitely check these guys out if they stroll through your hood, I had the pleasure of opening for them twice and their performance is always beyond brilliant!!!
