I LOVE these 1970's fashion clips shot in Paris for a German television show. Pierre Cardin's fashions are light years ahead of his time and the mixes by Mike Melvoin and The Electronic Music Orchestra are so amazing!!

Photographs Paola Kudacki - Models Hanne Gaby and Suvi Koponen
Paola Kudacki is one hell of a fashion photographer, her beauty shoots are always eye catching, playful and erotic. I constantly find myself stuck on her photographs in any magazine she is featured. Paola truly knows how to exemplify stellar eyes, lips, nails and any accessory of the moment. These photos are taken from Purple Fashion Magazine Issue #12, below is a behind-the-scene clip of models Hanne Gaby and Suvi Koponen working it out for the camera!

"In this music video for Flying Lotus, a young archer tests her skill by shooting an arrow at the moon. To her dismay, the moon falls from it's perch and into a turbulent sea. He swims the long distance to the beach where he can confront his attacker."- Bent Image Lab

Australian graphic designer, Jonathan Zawada has some incredible work. It seems like everything he touches turns to gold. His clients include The Presets, Six Pack France, Uniqlo, Coca Cola and Ksubi.
I had a really hard time trying to choose my favourite pieces, so please check out his site!

I did this illustration for Dazed Digital a couple weeks ago. They create music playlists for the month and ask illustrators to do a little doodle for the title.
The playlists are awesome. You should give it a listen.

Self-taught Canadian artist Aurel Schmidt finds herself inspired by her own life and its surroundings rather than the work of other artist.
She now lives and works in New York City. Since her career launching show at the Spencer Brownstone gallery in NYC, she has also
had successful solo shows at Peres Projects in L.A. (2007) and Deitch Projects (2008), and released a book of her works entitled 'Burn Outs'.
American photographer Mark Shaw, keeps it simple and plays off texture, movement, light and a graceful model in these beautiful examples of his early fashion photos. Through out the 50's-60's Shaw was highly recognized for his fashion images and celebrity profiles in LIFE magazine and other publications. The Kennedy family, Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot, Coco Channel, Yves Saint Laurent, and Pablo Picasso are among the celebities Shaw photographed.
